The City Government of Vigan City, headed by Hon. Mayor Randolf โRandyโ V. Singson, through the Gender and Development Focal Point System - Technical Working Group (GADFPS - TWG) led by SPM Joy Bennet Orio, successfully conducted the Barangay GAD Plan and Budget Review for CY 2027 on September 16, 2026, at the Vigan Cultural Training Center (VCTC), Vigan City.
The activity was attended by the 39 Barangay Secretaries of Vigan City, together with representatives from the City Planning and Development Office, CENRO, City Health Office, City Budget Office and DILG Vigan City Office.
The review provided an opportunity to guide the barangays in the preparation and refinement of their CY 2027 GAD Plans and Budgets, ensuring that proposed programs, activities, and projects are responsive to identified gender issues and aligned with local development priorities and relevant GAD policies and guidelines.
